Q?Can I organise a delivery of goods online?

At this stage we are not able to offer this facility, but we are hoping to move towards an online ordering system for bulk haulage clients who would prefer it.

Q?Do you do spot loads?
A.

We are well equipped to do spot loads, and our close proximity to Melbourne ports and warehouses makes it cost effective for our clients.

Q?Do you need plenty of notice to undertake a pick-up?
A.

Depending on the time of the year, our large fleet is usually able to accommodate jobs at short notice.

Q?Can you handle the transport of food-grade oils?
A.

Yes, apart from bulk cartage of grain and protein meal, we are well known for transporting canola, tallow and other agriculturally based oil products.

Q?Can you guarantee pick up and delivery schedules?
A.

We are a transport company that understands the importance of delivery deadlines. We will coordinate the pick-up and delivery according to time frames that best suit your company. We guarantee that there will always be trucks available to continue business in case of any unforeseen circumstances.

Q?Are your trucks well maintained?
A.

We take the safety of our drivers and the general public to be a serious responsibility for any trucking company. As a result, our trucks are regularly maintained onsite by our mechanical division. Additional maintenance work is referred back to the manufacturers. We participate in the NHVAS audits for maintenance and therefore keep up to date records. In addition, all drivers are responsible for filling in a Daily Vehicle Inspection Log.

VFF is the largest farmer organisation in Australia, the Victorian Farmers Federation has around 21,000 members. Formed in 1979 as the Victorian Farmers and Graziers Association, our name was changed in 1986 to become the Victorian Farmers Federation. VFF are closely affiliated with their national body, the National Farmers Federation.
