C. Cockerill & Son is a family owned and operated business which was founded in the early 1920’s using horse and cart as a means of transport. This well-known Australian freight company has been owned by the Cockerill family for 4 generations.
Our trucking company has continued to expand, growing over time from humble beginnings to its current modern fleet of trucks comprising of 18 prime movers, 25 specialised trailers and 2 rigid bodies. This has been achieved through a simple philosophy of providing friendly, safe and reliable service to its clients.
During the course of our business C. Cockerill & Son have provided service to many varied clients from multi national corporations to one-man operations and have continually done so for many years and we believe that service is the reason for this success.

These contracts include carting bulk products and commodities such as flour, mill run, protein meals, vegetable oil, tallow and stockfeed. Products are transported by B Double and Single Trailer application comprising of Bulk Pressure Tankers, Bulk Tippers, Taut liners and Liquid Tankers. Being an active member of the Victorian Transport Association we keep constantly in touch with updates in OH&S, road laws and other changes occurring within the transport industry.
